Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

For both Humans & Animals
A woman gently holding a horse's face inside a stable. The horse has a light brown coat and a white mane, with eyes closed. The woman is wearing a purple top and has long blonde hair tied back.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance. Using light-touch techniques, CST works with the craniosacral system,  which extends from the cranium to the sacrum,  to release restrictions and encourage optimal nervous system function.

This therapy can help reduce pain, improve physical alignment, and support the resolution of somatic concerns such as anxiety, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), gait irregularities, and postural imbalances. By easing tension and promoting decompression within the tissues, CST invites the body to return to its innate state of balance and self-healing.

Reiki

for both humans & animals
A person lying down on a bed with their eyes closed, receiving a Reiki or energy healing session from a practitioner whose hands are placed above their chest. The practitioner is wearing beaded bracelets and a ring, and the background features a bright, natural setting.

Reiki is a Japanese modality used for relaxation and stress reduction is based on the alternative holistic principle that life force energy runs through us all.

Energy can stagnate in the body related to stress, physical and emotional pain. Once the energy gets blocked it can lead to illness. Gentle touch and hand placement guides the energy in a way that promotes balance and restoration of blocked areas including meridian pathways and chakras throughout the body.

Benefits include relaxation, feelings of peace, security and wellbeing and call also benefit conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress and imbalances in the chakras.

**Crystals May or may not be used in a session*

All matter vibrates and frequency is the periodic speed or cycle of that vibration. Everything in the universe has its own unique set of frequencies. These vibrations and frequencies either share or Influence energy. People vibrate at various levels of frequencies and so do crystals.

Kinesiology Taping

for horses & canines only
A black horse with a long mane grazing on grass in a pasture during sunset, with trees and a small building in the background.

Upon application, its lifting effect on the hair stimulates the hair follicle and creates increased blood flow to areas to help with stress and pain.  This mechanism affects the pain receptors on the skin which can help support the injured or stressed area as well as provide pain relief.

Ideal for : muscle support, joint stabilization, performance and recovery, improving circulation.

Animal Neuro-Myofascial Release (ANMR)

for horses & canines only

Fascia is a continuous web of connective tissue that connects and supports every part of the body surrounding nerves, muscles, bones, blood vessels, and organs. Because it is all interconnected, a restriction in one area can create pain, tension, or limited movement elsewhere.

Animal Neuro-Myofascial Release (ANMR) is a specialized body alignment technique recognized by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a soft tissue modality. This approach targets restrictions within the fascial system, including “trigger points” areas felt as knots, nodules, or tight spots under the skin.

Using a gentle, tool-assisted method, ANMR introduces motion into the soft tissues surrounding the spine and joints. This combination of neurological stimulation and fascial release encourages the body to “reset” by easing muscle spasms, improving circulation, and restoring normal tissue mobility.

ANMR May Help With:

✤ Scarring and adhesions

✤ Inflammation and swelling

✤ Compressed nerves

✤ Repetitive stress injuries

✤ Physical trauma

Cold Laser

for horses & canines only
Person in blue jeans and black boots using an electronic hoof trimmer on a horse's hoof outdoors.

Low intensity or cold laser light is highly focused and is emitted in a specific wavelength and frequency for the best penetration and optimal effects.  It can be especially effective in decreasing  pain and inflammation, and in  promoting tissue healing.

Cold laser therapy is targeted to an area and gives the tissue the opportunity to heal or in chronic conditions (such as arthritis),  to maintain pain-free periods.

The therapy stimulates an increase in ATP (adenosine triphosphate) levels - the main energy source for all cellular functions.

This may help to prevent further degeneration of tissues including nerves, bone, joints, and blood vessels.

The treatment itself is safe, fast and pain free.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Some common signs include stiffness, resistance under saddle, uneven gaits, girthiness, or just seeming “off.” Even subtle changes in attitude or performance can indicate physical discomfort. Bodywork is also great as regular maintenance to help prevent injuries and support overall wellness.

  • Please have your horse clean and dry, in a safe, quiet area where we can work without distraction. A flat area with good footing (like a barn aisle, wash rack, or stall) is ideal. If possible, avoid scheduling other services (like the farrier or vet) at the same time.

  • Yes, or someone who knows your horse well should be present. I’ll need to ask a few questions about your horse’s history, habits, and any areas of concern before we get started.

  •  Equine sessions take place at the horse’s barn and are paced entirely by the horse. Session length varies based on tolerance, regulation, and responsiveness.

  •  No. Animal bodywork does not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment. It works best as supportive care alongside veterinarians and trainers.

  • Absolutely. Bodywork is not a replacement for veterinary care, but it’s a powerful support tool. I’m always happy to collaborate with your vet, chiropractor, farrier, or trainer to provide well-rounded care for your horse.
