Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and Reiki SessionsHuman Services
My human services are rooted in trauma-informed care and centered on nervous system regulation. Through Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki — offered as distinct modalities — I support the body’s natural ability to regulate, restore, and heal.
Each session honors the whole person — body, mind, and nervous system — creating space for safety, balance, and lasting ease.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on modality that supports the body’s natural ability to
restore balance.
Using light-touch techniques, CST works with the craniosacral system — which extends from the cranium to the sacrum — to release restrictions within the fascia and encourage optimal central nervous system function.
Craniosacral Therapy may support individuals experiencing:
Migraines and recurring headaches
Chronic neck and back discomfort
Sciatica and nerve-related pain
Temporomandibular joint tension (TMJ)
Fibromyalgia and connective tissue concerns
Chronic fatigue
Stress-related tension patterns
Emotional overwhelm and nervous system dysregulation
Post-traumatic stress patterns
Recovery support after traumatic brain or spinal injuries
Motor coordination challenges
Support for central nervous system imbalance
Reiki
Reiki is a gentle, energy-based therapy that supports balance within the body’s subtle energetic system.
While Craniosacral Therapy works primarily with structural and neurological patterns, Reiki focuses on energetic flow — including the chakra system and biofield — supporting coherence and homeostasis within the body.
Through light touch or hands held just above the body, Reiki promotes deep relaxation and parasympathetic activation.
This modality may support:
Emotional processing
Stress reduction
Anxiety and overwhelm
Energetic imbalance
Feelings of fatigue or depletion
A desire for deeper grounding and clarity
Here’s what one client shared about their experience:
"I have to admit, I was very skeptical about Craniosacral Therapy at first. I was open to relaxing for an hour, but honestly I thought it might be a little “woo-woo” or something closer to sorcery than real therapy. I decided to try it anyway because I had ongoing pain in my knee and elbow from physical activity and figured I had nothing to lose.
During the session, Marti wasn’t even working directly on my knee or elbow. Instead, she was working gently along my spine and around my head. She explained that my pelvis appeared to be rotated, with one hip higher than the other, and that other areas of my body were compensating for the imbalance. The tissues were essentially pulling and working harder to protect the injured areas, which was likely contributing to the pain and misalignment.
What happened next honestly surprised me. After the session, the pain was gone. Completely gone. I kept moving my knee and elbow around trying to find it, expecting it to come back, but it didn’t. I could move freely without the discomfort I had been dealing with. Needless to say, I went from a skeptic to a believer. This work is subtle, but it’s powerful. If you’re on the fence like I was, I’d absolutely recommend giving it a try."

Equine Assisted Reiki (Coming Soon)
SIMPLY PUT: HORSES HEAL!
A rare and deeply restorative experience for those seeking relaxation, trauma release, and nervous system regulation.
Equine Assisted Reiki is a unique healing experience where Reiki energy work is supported by the intuitive presence of a horse.
During these sessions, Reiki is offered by a Reiki Master while the horse is free to participate naturally. Horses often sense where support is needed and may choose to engage by standing nearby, gently placing their head near an area of focus, or simply remaining present during the session.
Horses possess a powerful and highly coherent electromagnetic field and an extraordinary sensitivity to the human nervous system. Their presence can deepen relaxation, support emotional release, and create a profound sense of grounding and connection.
Unlike structured equine therapy programs, these sessions allow the horse to participate voluntarily, creating a quiet and authentic interaction guided by the natural awareness of the animal.
Sessions will be offered outdoors in a peaceful setting.

-
No. Sessions may include craniosacral therapy alone or an integrated combination of CST and Reiki, depending on your preferences and what your body needs during the session.
-
Preparation is simple. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully. You may wish to hydrate well beforehand and avoid scheduling anything immediately after your session so you have space to integrate. Most importantly, come as you are — there is no need to prepare in a special way. Sessions are guided by your body’s pace and what feels safe and supportive for you.
-
Yes. All sessions are trauma-informed, consent-based, and guided by the nervous system. Touch is gentle, pacing is slow, and you remain in control throughout the session.
-
Frequency varies depending on your goals, current stress levels, and what your nervous system is navigating. Some individuals benefit from a series of sessions closer together to support regulation, while others choose ongoing care for maintenance and integration. We will discuss a plan that feels supportive, sustainable, and aligned with your needs.
-
Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki are both gentle modalities, and most people feel deeply relaxed afterward. Occasionally, you may notice mild tenderness, fatigue, or subtle shifts as your body integrates the work. These responses are typically temporary and part of the nervous system recalibrating toward balance.
